Knowledge, skills, creativity, and method form the fundamental basis in today’s international job framework, where disciplinary differences appear increasingly subtle and the specificities of operational practices require new forms of relationship. In this context, design education must be enriched by an interdisciplinary approach that allows interpreting the multiplicity of unexpected relationships between subjects and contextual conditions. The book “I Passi del Design” proposes an open and integrated trajectory, aimed at starting a new agile and inclusive design path in replacement of anachronistic schemes and tools. With this in mind, the book proposes a critical-analytical reconnaissance of inclusive design starting from the classical methods of industrial design hypothesized between 1962 and 1981. With the aim of exploring its boundaries and tracing the evolutionary lines of inclusive design, the book proposes a union and alternation of “interpretative voices”. Through these, the steps for the definition of universal design emerge, aimed at producing new discoveries and inventions, without representing a definitive reference.
