Description
The book presents the outcomes of a series of works concerning new energy scenarios for the architecture and public space of Pescara, Italy. The works can be understood as a reflection on the development of urban communities and land use that consume energy in spatially controlled forms. In light of this, they offer an alternative perspective and interpretation of the polycentric urban model, which is normally supported by mobility reasons but can integrate energy considerations, too.
