Description
The monograph is dedicated to the work of PROAP – Estudos and Projectos de Arquitectura Paisagista, which brings together a large group of professionals headed by João Nunes and Carlos Ribas. The studio’s work and research are oriented to intervention in the landscape, starting from the interpretation and recognition of its rules and mechanisms. PROAP has been carrying out projects since 1985, mainly of public spaces and parks, and since the beginning, it has been the spokesperson of a design approach in which the poetic reading of contexts is combined with an aesthetic dominated by the enhancement of the materiality of the spaces.
