Description
The Glasscity study is part of the larger Med Coast Agro Cities research, which deals with the possible strategies of urban, energy, tourism, and socio-cultural development of agricultural cities along the Mediterranean coast. The book collects the outcomes of research on the case study offered by Albenga. Located at the center of the Ligurian Riviera di Ponente, Italy, this city represents an interesting urban model, where tourist-seaside activities, historical heritage, industrial areas, and a vast agricultural plain -that represents the economic hub of the city- interweave together.
