Description
A new paradigm refers to discoveries that completely change the way people live. The same idea applies to the disciplines of space design: a new paradigm implies a completely different way of understanding the inhabited space. The paradigmatic passage from a system of measures, that is the territory, to a system of values, that is the landscape, represents the conceptual background of the researches and projects presented in this book. Differently from the territory, in the landscape, we can recognize ourselves, give value and meaning to the things we do. The landscape is, in some ways, the descriptive category within which the forms of contemporary living find their meaning.
