Description
The book presents a unique scenario of development for the city of Rome, i.e., the outcome of the international workshop “ROMA 20-25. New Life Cycles for the Metropolis” organized by the City of Rome together with the MAXXI – Museum of the Arts of XXI century Foundation and attended by students from 25 different universities. In particular, this workshop drafted a new map of the metropolitan city, corresponding to the vast perimeter of the social and economic life of contemporary Rome. While taking its cue from the renowned project “Roma Interrotta”, the workshop went beyond the boundaries of the historic city to highlight the vastness of metropolitan Rome, which was never previously defined.
