Description
The book addresses European deltaic territories that are both fragile and strongly affected by climate change. These characteristics, one inherent to the regions under study, the other caused by the global transformations, produce significant effects on the places and on the ways these are inhabited. As a consequence, the publication is organized into two parts: one proposes an analysis of the key features of some European deltas, the other compares them and the transformation of their settlements, in order to identify the common issues.
