Description
Through a series of interviews, the book analyzes the reasons behind the initial closure of Danish culture to European inputs and the following path of emancipation which, passing through the experience of functionalism, hs later mediated the socio-cultural transformations brought by the advent of globalization. Thanks to this development dynamic, Denmark is today characterized by a new generation of young architects, animated not by aesthetic theories but by a sort of modernism without dogma, as experimental as it is open to alternative ideas and concepts.
