Description
This issue of ALPS tries to describe the contemporary design of architecture and interiors in South Tyrol, a place where the thrusts towards tradition are strong, but where, at the same time, there are more and more impulses towards the contemporary. Homes, schools, workplaces, and entertainment thus form an itinerary through the landscapes of South Tyrol, not only as a description of the relationship between architecture and context but also as a search for new models of living.
